Horse related or not. I hardly did anything horse-wise this weekend...I felt like I was so neglecting them, but it was scorching. LOL. It was 33 degrees celcius (91 fahrenheit) where I live on Friday and Saturday, so I spend my days at the campground on the beach. My little brother is horse obsessed, so while we did go to the barn, it was spent with him running around the parameter of the field spotting the horses saying, Sglash (Splash), Meo (Romeo), Maceg (Magic), and Toomy (Tommy) x194956 times. My stepmother's brainwashed him that my horse's name is still Tommy, not Astrix... Then being the smart horse owners they are, my brother got an early birthday present (stuffed rocking horse) at the barn, and the boarders decided to set it up... not a good idea. They were convinced that the breast plate was a martingale... stupid people. I stood by and laughed ;) If this isn't legit enough, how did your first tacking up session go? (: Meagan K: Is everyone's summer before mine?! Seriously. I only get out on Friday. Hunter: honestly, I'm still trying to figure it out for myself. One second I was teasing my dad about how I was going to convert my brother to English (dad is all for western) with the rocking horse since it came with English 'tack' and then I heard my friend Geoff scream, "it's not supposed to go there, stupid! How messed does that look to you as a martingale, Kelsie? See, look!! Hah, it is so the breast plate." ... That's really saying something on how much they retain as a group of 11 after riding for 6+ years each. I laughed. Meagan: it's really stupid... I go in on the 8th of September and get out on the 25th of June. Which only really gves me two months of summer vacation. Meh.
